Philosophy of Education

Manheim Christian School recognizes that Christian parents have the God-given right and responsibility to educate their children and to bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. It is the Christian school's role to work as a support and partner with parents and the family's church to help parents to fulfill their responsibility. The school, in partnership with parents, families, congregations, and the community of faith, is committed to providing an education that is biblically sound, academically excellent, and personally challenging.

Manheim Christian School believes that the foundation for truth stems from a Biblical worldview. We believe that teaching academic truths is done in conjunction with the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of education. We look to Jesus’s examples of teaching in the Bible to create an atmosphere where students can develop Christ-like qualities to apply to their individual lives.

Our purpose is to equip students for life beyond Manheim Christian School through academic excellence, practical life skills, and committed work ethic. We prepare students for a life of ongoing learning and continual Christian service while utilizing their God-given talents, developed to their fullest potential.
