Is financial aid available and would I qualify? Scholarship funds are available to those families who meet both state and MCDS requirements. Pennsylvania requires that a family meet certain income criteria to be eligible for financial aid. The Household Income Allowance for 2022 is listed below.
Status
Single Parent/Married Couple with 1 child
Single Parent/Married Couple with 2 children
Single Parent/Married Couple with 3 children
Income
$127,532
$146,620
$165,708
MCDS requires that a patron family pay at least 25% of their total tuition. Families who qualify for OSTC or
other special funding may be granted an exception to this requirement. MCDS does have limited funds available to families who exceed the above listed income thresholds. The school also considers extenuating circumstances when making awards. Expected income for the upcoming school year as well as financial hardships are considered. Every effort is made to allocate our limited scholarship funds on a fair and equitable basis according to the financial needs of each patron family.
(Add $19,088 for each additional child or dependent.)
