The following positions are currently available for the 2024-2025 school year:

Start Date: Immediate

Primary Focus: The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily financial operations of the school and providing insight and analysis to the Principal, Finance Committee and Board of Directors on options for meeting strategic financial goals. The person in this position will do everything from basic bookkeeping functions to complex financial analysis and must be able to communicate with those across the spectrum of financial understanding. MCDS is a 501c(3) and must follow rules applicable to non-profits.
Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparing deposits and reconciling bank accounts
  • General ledger structure and entries
  • Accounts payable
  • Billing of tuition and incidentals to student accounts
  • Accounts receivable; including collections
  • Payroll, employee benefits and contracts
  • Financial aid, including managing all aspects of the school’s EITC funds
  • Recording and receipting donations
  • Monthly financial statements and Board reports
  • Preparing and monitoring annual budget
  • Sales Tax Exemption paperwork/Sales Tax filings
  • IRS/State filing compliance
  • Overseeing school’s benevolence fund
  • Professional development
  • Attending after hours meetings, as needed—Board, Finance Committee, Capital Campaign, etc.

Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. Prior non-profit experience preferred. Candidate without a degree but significant non-profit/school experience may be considered.

Skill requirements:
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Organization & attentiveness to detail, yet with ability to think globally
  • Ability to manage & delegate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivation and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality


Full-time Finance Manager (12 month position)

Hours: 3-5pm on practice days with game days ranging between 2-6pm; 2-4 times each week from August - mid-October 2024

We are seeking a candidate who has:
  • a love for the Lord
  • a willingness to coach and mentor our middle school student-athletes
  • a passion for and emphasis on technical and tactical development

Prior coaching experience is preferred but not required. A small stipend is available.
